How practise you make tortilla curl-ups?

  • Cream cheese - Always start with room temperature cream cheese.  It's much easier to blend other ingredients into the cream cheese when it is soft.  The soft cream cheese mixture also spreads hands onto the tortillas.
  • Tortillas - Utilise any diverseness of tortillas that you lot like.  I love the spinach and sun-stale love apple variety considering they are then delicious, but they as well add together festive colour during the holidays.
  • Spreading the filling - Employ most ¼ cup of cream cheese mixture per each 10-inch tortilla.  Spread the mixture all the way to the edges.
  • Rolling the tortillas - Starting on one side, roll the tortillas tightly.  No demand to fold in the sides.  The wonky ends will get cutting off before slicing and serving.
  • Spooky the tortillas - Wrap the tortillas in plastic wrap and arctic for at least 4 hours or overnight.  The gyre-ups will business firm up and be easier to piece.
  • Slicing and serving -  Cut off the uneven ends and set aside for snacking on later on.  Cut the tortillas into ½-inch slices.  Arrange on a platter.  Refrigerate any leftovers in an airtight container.
